Why Join Us?
- Gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting with cutting-edge AI-powered development tools. You will work with professional tools like Cursor and Claude to boost your productivity.
- Work in a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and innovation. We encourage a "fail fast, learn faster" approach—we don't penalize smart risks that don't pan out.
- Engage in a well-structured internship program that offers opportunities to learn about construction, explore job sites, and enjoy fun activities throughout the summer.
- Your ideas matter here: We're a small, agile team where interns have proposed and built features that are now used company-wide.
- Challenge the status quo: Develop applications that improve and streamline internal processes using modern AI-assisted development workflows. We want your fresh perspective on problems we've been solving the same way for years.
- Choose your focus based on your experience:
- Web Application Track:
- Build web applications using Cursor as the primary development environment with JavaScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL on Microsoft Azure.
- Design and implement custom Power BI dashboards to visualize business data in new ways.
- C# Development Track:
- Contribute to C# projects in Visual Studio using Claude AI for code generation and problem-solving to build custom plugins for Revit design software.
- Web Application Track:
- Bring AI ideas to the table: If you have experience with AI agents or LLM-powered tools and ideas for how they could enhance our development productivity or modernize our processes, we want to hear them. This is an opportunity to experiment and innovate.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team while taking ownership of individual projects—your ideas will be heard and implemented.
- Education:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or closely related technical field.
- Must have at least one full college semester remaining after the internship concludes in August 2026 (graduating December 2026 or later).
- Students graduating college in May 2026 or who have already graduated are not eligible.
- Portfolio: On resume or cover letter, applicants are strongly encouraged to include links to their portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing projects that highlight experience in JavaScript/React and/or C#. If you don't have a portfolio yet, that's okay - be prepared to discuss technical problems you've solved, side projects you're working on, or ideas you're excited about in your interview.
We're especially interested in seeing projects where you:
- Built something unconventional or experimental.
- Solved a problem in a creative way.
- Implemented AI/LLM features or automation.
- Contributed to open source or built side projects that show your curiosity.
- Experience preferred:
- Previous internship or substantial project experience demonstrating proficiency in JavaScript/React and/or C#.
- Experience with any of the following: Node.js, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Power BI, Git, GitHub, Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk Revit APIs.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to navigate both backend and frontend technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you'll need to explain your ideas and convince us why they're worth trying.
